A knife amnesty is being run in North Wales this week as part of a larger national campaign. Op Sceptre, aims to take bladed weapons off the streets, runs between 17th - 23rd November 2025. NWP have placed Amnesty Bins at the following Recycling Centres in Gwynedd: Dolgellau Recycling Centre, Ffordd Y Bala, Dolgellau, LL402YF Harlech Recycling Centre, Ffridd Rasus, Harlech, LL462UW Caernarfon Recycling Centre, Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon, LL552BD If you have a knife in your possession or are aware of a member of your family or friend who is in possession of one, knife/knives can be dispose at these amnesty bins with no questions asked from the Police. This campaign is part of a wider piece of work to make North Wales the Safest place to live, work and visit in the UK. |
